Biography:

          Judge Jeff Syrios is currently the Division 27 Judge of the 18th Judicial District Court.  He was first elected to the bench in 2008.  He has served as a trial judge in the Criminal, Family Law, Civil, Juvenile and Traffic Departments.  

Prior to taking the bench, Judge Syrios enjoyed a diverse private practice including business and real estate law, criminal, personal injury, medical negligence and worker’s compensation law.  During this time, Judge Syrios also served as the City Prosecutor for the cities of Clearwater, Rose Hill and Douglass, Kansas, and was later the Municipal Court Judge for the cities of Clearwater and Douglass, Kansas.  Additionally, and as a part of his private practice, he served the City of Wichita as a Public Defender.

 
Judge Syrios was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas.  He received his undergraduate degree from Bethel College before receiving his Juris Doctorate from Washburn University School of Law.
